How do you play Suguru?
The board is divided into blocks. Fill each block with the numbers 1 up to however many squares it has — a four-square block takes 1, 2, 3 and 4. No two identical numbers may touch, including diagonally. That second rule is the whole game.
What does the unlock include?
£2.99, once, unlocks Hard and Expert, unlimited puzzles, and the hint engine. Easy and Medium are free to play, and the daily puzzle is free forever. There is no subscription and no advertising on either side of that line.
I paid before and reinstalled — how do I get it back?
Open the menu, choose "Unlock the full game", and tap "Restore purchase". As long as you are signed in to the same Apple Account that bought it, the unlock comes straight back. It is also covered by Family Sharing.
Why is my daily puzzle the same as my friend’s?
That is deliberate. The daily is derived from the calendar date itself, so everyone gets the same puzzle on the same day with no server involved. It gets harder as the week goes on.
My streak reset. Why?
A streak counts consecutive days on which you finished the daily. Miss a day and it starts again at one. Solving the daily twice in one day does not count twice. The count uses your local calendar date, so travelling across timezones will not silently cost you a day.
Does it work offline?
Always. Puzzles are generated on the device and the app never makes a network request, so aeroplanes and tunnels make no difference at all.
A hint said there is no simple step. Is it stuck?
Not necessarily. It means the technique ladder cannot find a step it can explain from here — usually because something placed earlier is wrong, or because the position genuinely needs notes and a careful guess. If squares are flagged red, fix those first.
